Gilly is a bottlenose dolphin was just a baby when he stranded, weighing in at just 50lbs. He demanded constant attention from hundreds of volunteers who bottle fed him every 2 hours around the clock for three weeks.

He was flown to Sea World of Texas in San Antonio on a Coast Guard Falcon Jet while riding in an inflatable Lion King pool on June 3, 1994.

Gilly is currently in their feeding tank at the front of the park and is weighing in at 490 lbs. He is doing very well and is reported to be one of the "top males" of the group there.
